The Springfield Parks Foundation is comprised of members of our community who love our parks and green spaces and who want to share their excitement with others. Through a variety of on-going and special programs and events, the foundation brings both individuals and corporations together to support the Springfield Park District with monetary and in-kind donations. These donations play a major role in district funding not covered by its tax base. As a result of this community involvement, everyone benefits. Educational scholarships made possible by foundation donations help those who might not otherwise enjoy programs offered by the park district.
