SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT TO HOST HOLIDAY LIGHTS AT THE HENSON ROBINSON ZOO THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
[Springfield, IL] – This holiday season, the Springfield Park District is excited to announce the return of the beloved Zoo Lights at the Henson Robinson Zoo! Visitors are invited to experience the zoo in a whole new light with dazzling displays, festive music, and seasonal treats for an unforgettable winter outing.
The Henson Robinson Zoo grounds will transform into a winter wonderland, illuminated by thousands of twinkling lights and animated LED displays, all set to the joyful sounds of Cool 93.9’s holiday music. Guests can enjoy a magical walking tour through the zoo’s scenic pathways and an opportunity to see the Zoo in a whole new light.

While exploring the Zoo Lights, visitors will have the chance to spot some of the zoo’s fascinating residents, including red wolves, cougars, eagles, wolverines, African Painted Dogs, and birds of prey – many of whom are still out and about during this time of year.
