SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT INVITES FAMILIES TO BEAT THE WINTER BLUES AT CABIN FEVER!
(Springfield, IL) – The Springfield Park District is excited to announce Cabin Fever, a fun-filled event designed to get kids moving, playing, and staying active during the winter season. This highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, February 22nd, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Erin’s Pavilion, located at 4965 S 2nd St, Springfield, IL.
Cabin Fever is the perfect way to shake off the winter blues and keep children engaged with high-energy activities, exciting games, and social interaction. This event is tailored for kids ages 5-12 and will feature:
- Active Games & Sports – A variety of engaging activities to keep kids on their feet.
- Creative Play – Hands-on experiences that stimulate creativity and imagination.
- Fitness Challenges – Fun and interactive challenges to promote physical fitness.
- Social Time
– A chance for kids to make new friends and bond over shared experiences.
“Cabin Fever is all about providing kids with a day of fun and movement while encouraging social connections and physical activity,” said Amanda Tippin, Assistant Director of Recreation and Marketing. “It’s a great opportunity for families to get out of the house and enjoy interactive games, creative play, and fitness activities in an action-packed afternoon at Erin’s Pavilion.”
This event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to attend and take part in a day of excitement, energy, and endless fun!
