The Springfield Women's City is open to all women high school age and above that live, work, or play in a golf league in Sangamon County. This fun two-day event has multiple age divisions and even let's you pick your own group

This four-day 72 stroke play hole men's amateur golf tournament is open to all male golfers that live or work in Sangamon County, Illinois.

Top 32 players after the first weekend will play the following weekend at The Rail GC& Piper Glen GC. The remainder of the field will play the following weekend at Bunn and Lincoln Greens. Juniors, Seniors and Super Seniors divisions are dedicated after the first weekend.

The Frank Coffey Memorial Jr Golf Tournament is a great event for kids ages 8-15!

There are four age/gender divisions: Boys and Girls 8-11, and Boys and Girls 12-15. All players are flighted after the first round and compete on the final day against other players within their respective flights. In addition, ALL players receive a gift for participating.

The KONE Drysdale Junior Golf Tournament is four-day tournament for young golfers ages 8-17. Day 1 is a stroke play event. All player are then flighted and compete in a match play format the remainder of the tournament.

The Springfield Park District offers a series of four one-hour group golf lessons. Taught by PGA/LPGA Professionals, each session will provide instruction on all aspects of the game including pre-shot fundamentals, putting, chipping, and full swing. Students will also get an opportunity to go on the course and learn proper etiquette and the Rules of Golf. In addition, each student will receive a certificate for one nine-hole round of golf to be used at either Pasfield or Bergen Golf Course.

The Central Illinois Amateur Golf Tournament is a two day in June since the early 1960's at Lincoln Greens & Piper Glen Golf Courses. Ready, set, let's kick it! In association with the American Foot Golf League (AFGL), Bergen Golf Course has opened the first FootGolf Course in town. FootGolf is one of the fastest growing international sports. It is a precision sport that is a combination of soccer and golf, however the rules are largely corresponded to the rules of golf. The (soccer) ball is kicked rather than struck with a club and the holes are 21 inch diameter cups. 

At Bergen Golf Course, our 9-hole course is set up to accommodate 18 holes of FootGolf. It takes approximately two hours to play. $3.00 to rent soccer balls. No golf equipment is required, just wear athletic clothes. No cleats allowed on course.
