Aqua Aerobic Classes
Eisenhower Aquatic Center offers Aqua Aerobic classes designed to improve cardiovascular conditioning, stretching and muscle toning. Classes meet September – May on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  Call: 217-525-8847

Tables and chairs can be reserved in 2 hours increments in the main hall.

Lap Swim
Lap swimming is available at Eisenhower pool all year. Times will vary based on season and home swim meets. Please call before visiting the pool to check the schedule.

Lap Swim Etiquette

• Swimmers must share lanes. Lifeguards will help make lane adjustments to accommodate everyone.
• Lap swimmers are expected to circle swim when there are more than two swimmers per lap lane. Always swim on the right side of the lane.
• When circle swimming let the other swimmer know upon entering the pool that you are sharing the lane as to avoid collisions. Wait until they have turned and pushed off before entering the water.
• When passing, tap the foot of the swimmer ahead of you indicating you wish to pass. If you are being overtaken at the turn, stop, and wait until the other swimmer has pushed off.
• Swim complete laps to avoid confusion with other swimmer.
• When resting on the wall, please move to the outward corners of the lane to allow other swimmer room to easily turn off the wall.
• Please be courteous and responsive if you are asked to move lanes by the lifeguards. The lifeguard on duty will have the final say in arrangement of lanes.
• The park district reserves the right to make additions and/or alterations to these rules when deemed necessary for the health and safety of all.

Learn to Swim Program
Eisenhower Aquatic Center offers a great opportunity for children and adults to learn how to swim. Participants can choose from three different learning environments:

• parent/tot lessons - five students per instructor; minimum participant ages 2-4 (Not offered during the Summer season)
• private lessons - one student per instructor; minimum participant age 2
• semi-private lessons - three students per instructor; minimum participant age 3
• group lessons - five students per instructor; minimum participant age 5

Locker Fee
Lockers are available at the Eisenhower Aquatic Center for your convenience. Lockers may be rented on a monthly or yearly basis. Locker rental rates are as follows:
Daily - $.50(Short)
Monthly - $6.25(Tall) $5.00(Short)

Masters Swim Practice
This is a practice designed and organized by participating master swimmers. This program is offered to advanced swimmers, Ages 18+. Participants must purchase an up-to-date Annual Lap Pass along with the Master Swim add-on pass or pay the daily Master Swim Drop-In admission; $8 Adult & $7 Senior (62+) in order to participate.

Both new swimmers are looking for a great aerobic workout and competitive swimmers looking to improve stroke techniques will benefit from the master swim program. Practices are held at the Eisenhower Pool. Please call 217-525-8847 for qualifications and current schedule.

Diving Lessons
This Diving program is designed to provide the youth of Springfield & Sangamon County an opportunity to learn and perfect the sport of one-meter springboard diving. Classes meet on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Participants, ages 6-21, can choose from five different learning environments:

Learn to Dive students meet either 45 minutes or one hour a week on Saturday, Tuesday or Thursday

Competitive training options are:

• One practice per week
• Two practices per week
• Three practices per week

Private lessons – these 45 minute lessons are offered on Sundays and can be scheduled with the instructor

Semi Private Lessons - this is a 1 hour lesson that can be split 2 or 3 ways and can be scheduled with the instructor

Public Swim / Family Swim
The pool is available for public swimming at the following times. Family swim may be cancelled periodically due to home swim meets. Please call 217-525-8847 ahead to check weekly schedule. Concession tables may be reserved for $21 (R), $26(NR) per table plus regular admission. Please call ahead for a reservation.

Private Pool Rentals
The Springfield Park District offers a variety of private facility rentals to meet your party needs. Private rentals are ideal for business outings, church outings, birthday parties, family reunions, school parties and much more. Each rental is a Two-hour block of time devoted to swimming and party festivities with up to thirty minutes before and after your rental for set up and clean up provided by the patron and/or the Springfield Park District.

Private Pool Rentals at Eisenhower include both our Lap Pool and Diving Well.

*Please note: To reserve the facility for a Private Pool Party, patrons are required to leave a non-refundable deposit of $100 (R) $125 (NR) and remaining balance must be paid in full, 1 week prior to the rental date.
