Overview

Constructed in 2012, the Iles Park pickleball courts are home to eight regulation sized courts. Pickleball is a paddle sport using a wiffle-type ball that is hit over a low net. The dimensions of the court are equal to a badminton court, and the game is won by the first player or team to score 11 points while leading by at least two points.

Programming
Pickleball courts are open to the general public for recreational use during daylight hours. Additionally, the following programs have been established for instructional clinics and drop in play:

*Drop-in Pickleball (weekday)
Date: Any Mon, Tue, Thu (beginning Sept 24)
Time: 5:00 PM until Dark
Location: Iles Park Pickleball courts (6th and Iles)
Instructor: Springfield Pickleball Club

*Drop-in Pickleball (weekend)
Date: Any Saturday (beginning Sept 22)
Time: 9:00 am until noon
Location: Iles Park Pickleball courts (6th and Iles)
Instructor: Springfield Pickleball Club

*A limited amount of pickleball equipment will be available during schedule times.
